Veranstaltungen

Alongside their roles as Familienleiter and Hausbetreuer, each Betreuer also leads one Veranstaltungsstunde or AG-Stunde each day.

On the left side, you'll see ideas for Veranstaltungen that we've offered in the past, along with links to various resources. Don't let this list constrain your own ideas! We're always open to new offerings.

Here are some general tips for planning and leading a successful Veranstaltungsstunde:

• Make it something you enjoy or can at least pretend to enjoy. If you're bored and counting the minutes until you can send a kid to läut the Glocke, they'll pick up on that and hate it too.

• Learn relevant vocabulary beforehand.
