Choose a forbidden number (3 or 4 usually work best). Villagers begin to count-one at a time no when they get to the forbidden number, a multiple of the forbidden number, or a larger number with the forbidden number in it, they must say “plums.” For example, 1, 2, 3, plums, 5, 6, 7, plums, 9, 10, 11, plums, 13, plums, 14...
