Holy Roman Empire Election 1376

This is a simulation of the election that took place in the HRE in 1376, in which Wenceslaus, son of the then-emperor Charles IV, was selected as "King of the Romans," presumed successor as Holy Roman Emperor.

As with many other simulations, each team can send representatives to the other teams and make any agreements they like in pursuit of votes. All agreements must be reported to the game leaders. After three rounds or so of negotiation, the election is held by majority vote.

The documents attached here are not QUITE complete. To play the simulation effectively, you should assign each team 3 or 4 goals (one of which is getting their preferred candidate elected), each of which has a certain number of points; this will allow you to assess which team actually "won," regardless of who the new Römisch-deutscher König is.
